With the <a href=\"http:\/\/ww5.komen.org\/BreastCancer\/Statistics.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rising rates of breast cancer<\/a>, mammography has gained popularity globally as the most effective screening technique to detect the most common cancer among women.<\/p>\n<div id=\"td-outer-wrap\">\n<div class=\"td-main-content-wrap\">\n<div class=\"td-container td-post-template-default\">\n<div class=\"td-pb-row\">\n<div class=\"td-pb-span8 td-main-content\">\n<div class=\"td-ss-main-content\">\n<article id=\"post-76280\" class=\"post-76280 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry category-health tag-breast-cancer tag-cancer-treatment tag-cdc tag-mammography tag-who\">\n<div class=\"td-post-content\">\n<h4><em>I believe that if you did have a tumor, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collective-evolution.com\/2016\/10\/06\/switzerland-completely-abolished-mammography-screenings-heres-why-you-should-probably-never-get-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the last thing you would want to do is crush that tumor between two plates<\/a>, because that would spread it.<\/em> \u2014 Dr. Sarah Mybill, General Practitioner<\/h4>\n<p>Centers for Disease Control and Prevention insists mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms.
