10 Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has so many uses. It ranks as one of the top natural remedies for healing the body - from whatever ails it! It's medicinal properties begin with the noble apple, which contains vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants - and no fat or sodium. If the fermentation process used does not alter its nutrients, all of the goodness of the apple can be extracted and retained, while enzymes and organic acids are added. It's made by turning apple juice into hard cider, then fermenting a second time, to turn it into apple cider vinegar.

For your home and pets, use it to clean and disinfect most of your home's surfaces (just like baking soda) and reduce fleas. Apply to pet's skin for fleas. Add to water to kill internal parasites, or aid with ailments. Organic farmers even use it to treat parasite infestations in livestock. It's a good addition to your Preparedness Kit.

No Scales, No Fins, No Good

Scientific research has moved more and more doctors and nutritionists to recommend adding fish and fish oils to our diet. Studies indicate that eating fish once or twice each week may also help reduce blood cholesterol levels, a leading cause of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), a major factor in the development of coronary heart disease. 

Fish is not only a fast, easy meal to prepare, but it's also easy on the digestive system, high in protein, low in sodium and low in calories. Understandably, health-conscious consumers are beginning to include fish as a regular part of their weekly diet and a healthy alternative to red meats. 

Beware of Fish without Scales and Fins 
Interestingly kosher dietary laws prohibit the eating of fish without both scales and fins. That eliminates a number of delicious sea foods, including shellfish, shrimp, catfish, lobster, mussels, eels, sharks, sturgeons, and swordfish, just to name a few. 

Clearly their law-giver knew something that has taken scientists years to discover. Now we know that fish with scales AND fins are equipped with a digestive system that prevents the absorption of poisons and toxins into their flesh from the waters they call home. Flounder, cod, haddock, and salmon are a few examples of fish with scales and fins. 

Catfish have fins, but do not have scales. These scavengers are primarily bottom feeders and have digestive systems designed to absorb toxins from the water. Clams, lobster, shrimp, crabs, mussels and squid do not have scales or fins and are believed to be highly toxic. They naturally absorb all the toxins in the water they live in. Believe it or not, lobster and crabs are crustaceans and are a part of the arthropod family, which include caterpillars, cockroaches, and spiders! 

Fish with Scales and Fins 
Albacore, Bass, Carp, Flounder, Grouper, Haddock, Halibut, Herring, Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Orange Roughy, Perch, Pike, Pollock, Salmon, Sardines, Snapper, Sole, Tilapia, Trout, Tuna, Walleye, Whitefish, and Whiting are just some of the most popular fish with both fins and scales. 

Wild Caught vs Farm-Raised (aka Ocean-Raised) Fish? 
Unfortunately, farm-raised fish have almost taken over the market. In some areas it's almost impossible to find wild fish and when you do, the price is considerably higher than the farm-raised fish. The debate continues as to the whether or not farm-raised fish are full of toxins, such as mercury and PCB's (polychlorinated biphenyls, a "probable human carcinogen" according to the EPA and banned in 1977). However, some things are not in question… farm-raised fish are held in containment cells, which don't allow adequate space for swimming. Like anything living in crowded conditions, they are prone to disease, requiring antibiotics, which of course we consume when we eat them. 

Additionally, this environment doesn't allow the fish to eat naturally. They are fed prepared fish food, which affects not only their nutritional value and their coloring, but also their taste. The danger of this prepared fish food was highlighted in the spring of 2007 during the big pet food scare, which was traced to a tainted Chinese ingredient. Some of the contaminated flour was mislabeled as gluten and mixed into fish food in Canada and exported to the USA, where it was fed to farmed-fish! 

Low Calorie 
Of course the total number of calories will depend on how you choose to prepare your fish. While great for the taste buds, frying adds far more calories to fish than baking, broiling, steaming or poaching. Some may feel that fish without butter or tartar sauce is like a day without sunshine, but there are other ways to add great flavor to your fish without these added calories. Basil, thyme, rosemary, curry powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, lemon, lime, and balsamic or plum vinegar will enhance the flavor of the fish without adding all those extra calories. 

Quick Fish Recipe 
Clean fish fillets by rubbing a little sea salt over them and rinsing with cold water. Marinate fillets of salmon, tilapia, flounder, or your favorite fish (15 min. to 1 hr, but overnight is even better) in dried thyme leaves, Herbes de Provence*, sea salt, pepper (white or black), red pepper flakes or powder (optional), and plum vinegar or lemon juice. Bake or broil 10-25 minutes, depending on type of fish, thickness of fillet and whether baked or broiled. 

*Unable to find Herbes de Provence at your favorite grocer? Make your own… it includes winter savory, thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon, & lavender flowers. Don't like the "fish oil" taste of some fish? Add a 1-3 whole cloves and some dried thyme to your favorite recipe and enjoy! 

Food for Thought 
If you'd like to live a healthy, vibrant life, at least consider replacing some of those red meat meals with some delicious wild fish! Reduce or eliminate shellfish and farm-raised fish from your diet, and be sure that your fish has scales and fins. (Having them removed at the market is a plus!) 

Hate to scale fish indoors? 
Here's a tip… fill sink with cool water; with fish under water scrape fish scaler (or serrated knife) in opposite direction of the scales. The water will prevent the scales from flying all over the kitchen! To scale those hard to hold ends, allow water to flow from faucet directly over the area being scaled.

We came across this recipe on youtube and it was amazing! Highly recommended. The whole dish was done in under a hour, and we used olive oil instead of butter for the vegetables (Milk the Deadly White Poison)

A Beginner's Journey in the Truth

If any of you have every watched the TV series from 1995 called the ‘Nowhere Man ’, it explores the mind of a man whose life is turned upside down as a mass conspiracy concerning his life begins to unfold. Everything he thought he knew is ripped out from under him and ‘they’ start to psychologically mess with his mind to get him to question his own reality. As you journey with him you start to relate with him and you think –‘Trust no one. They’re all in on it!’

It’s reminiscent of being new to the truth. We can all remember that day vividly when the course of our life changed. When we found out who we were as a nation and that everything we thought we knew about our faith and this world was one big illusion and conspirator lie! Immediate isolation hits, as your eyes are opened and yet everyone else you encounter is still in deep slumber.

Initial Reactions

puzzleFor some, you take in the information and put all the jigsaw pieces in place and you get a sense of peace because you knew something wasn't right with the world and the truth has finally set things straight. For others you need a time out from life to process this all, you look at the video you watched or the person who revealed it to you with a sceptical brow and squinted eyes  thinking , ‘No way will I be lied to again, I need to make sure this is the real deal!’

Patience and Timing

patienceWhichever way you react to it, it all needs some level of adjustment and coping mechanisms. You might want to tell every single person you know about what you discovered, but think about this, you were primed in advance by the Father to cope with the bombshell that was dropped on you. So not everyone is going to be ready because you want them to be, nor will they all see what you see instantaneously. Don’t force this truth on anyone, it speaks for itself. So try not to get discouraged, we have all been there. It’s not only about speaking the truth but knowing when to say it, because no matter how true it is, if it is not a word in season it will not be as well received.

Choose your bait

baitYou need to be cunning as a serpent and harmless as a dove, know who you’re talking to and what their bait is. Relate to them on their level, show them the conspiracy in something they are passionate about then bring it full circle gradually depending on their interest.

 

 

You want to drop everything!

flightSome want to quit their job immediately, quit college a week before finals, hop on a plane quickly out of dodge, but take a moment. Understand that we all encounter the end of the world daily, because you never know what hour or day the Father will require your life. So your primary focus should be preparing spiritually, getting baptised, following the laws in the spirit of Christ, praying and asking for guidance on your next steps to physically obey what has been revealed to you. So be patient and wait for an opportunity for the way forward to be shown to you.

The breakdown

breakdownIt happens with many of us, the fullness of the conspiracies, lies and the desolate state of our people hits you. You also feel the weight of the sin of your foreparents who grieved the Most High by their spiritual fornication and you confess their faults and yours and that of the nation and breakdown in tears out of heavy sorrow. Remember, this was the constant state of the prophets from Ezra to Jeremiah, they all put on sack cloth and ashes and lamented over the sin and condition of their people.  You might also feel anger or outrage towards your persecutors and to those being used by satan to control this world. It is important to realise that our sin led us to this point and only by returning to the Father can we be restored and find peace.

Isolation and people thinking screws are lose

isolationYou’ve now told all the people you know about this conspiracy, you’ve had everyone give you the crazy looks, they’re starting to think you have mental issues, like the preacher types we all grew up seeing on the street warning that the end was here! They’re thinking ...‘Aha this is how it all starts then’. Don’t question your sanity, hold tight to the seed that was first sown in you and fight to let it germinate grow and give fruit. You’re not crazy!

How to cope and where your focus should be

studyYou first need to build yourself up spiritually. Throw yourself into the bible, classes and communion with likeminded people. We were not created to be isolated so don’t start now. It’s all about building your foundation and making sure it’s built on rock because you need to prepare yourself for the challenges that Satan will bring to try to rob you of what was sown. So guard it diligently, try not to get too caught up in YouTube commentary with naysayers, and precept battles with people on Facebook and social media, and try to stay focused on the teachings where you first learned this truth to build yourself in sound doctrine. This page is a good place to start on the website. You could’ve watched all the videos and seek more; more new knowledge or understanding, but do you understand the basic principles of Christ that are the pre-requisite to making it? You may be looking for the next Hebrew book outside bible but do you understand and know the 66 contained in the bible? The Academy helps systematically deprogram all the lies and replace it with truth and provides you with a chronology of our history and scripture. You’re a new born in the truth,  a sponge and that’s ok but always link it back to what you would expect from a new baby. Take baby steps. You could be trying to run before you can crawl and you  can become discouraged when adversity hits you.

Endurance

raceThis is a long distance marathon and not a sprint. We all want to endure till the end to make it into the kingdom but it’s not an easy road, temptation will be strong after baptism, not seeing prophecy fulfilled in ‘your time frame’ may have you questioning but remember our foreparents and how they prophesied back then 100s of years before the judgement came. As stated earlier, the end of the world in death could happen at any time, so endure and stay on the road and don’t turn back like Lot’s wife.

So everything you are feeling, we have all gone through, think of it as teething pain; necessary and it may hurt however the result is that you can now move onto meat!
