Streamed Vegetables with Flavored Butters
Steaming is a great way to cook vegetables and retain the nutrients. It keeps in so many of the vitamins lost by boiling, and can be done in stacked steamer baskets. Best of all, though, it only takes up one ring of your cooker! The butters are easy to make and can be done way ahead. Keep any leftovers in your freezer and use a slice when you cook a steak. Don't cook all the vegetables or you'll have far too many – just pick your two favourites.

The Importance Of Prayer & Staying In The Word
Shalom Family
We strongly encourage each of you to spend more quality time in prayer with The Most High. Every time we read about Christ's walk we find him in constant prayer. Yet why if he was with the Father and had faith did Christ feel it important to stay in prayer? Let’s ponder on that for a moment.
Christ knew full well the Power of Prayer and when he took his disciples to pray in a mountain the scriptures says:
Luk 9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.
So from this we see that prayer literally changed Christ! And then what happened?
Luk 9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
Luk 9:31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.
So we read here that through prayer Christ was changed and that change allowed him to see and speak to Elias and Moses and they entered a cloud and the Most High spoke to them.
Luk 9:34 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. Luk 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
Wow let me get this straight... so through prayer Christ's countenance was not only altered but his rainment was made white and glistering and he was able to see and talk to Moses and Elias and enter a cloud and be approved by the Most High…all from just praying! AMAZING!
If prayer will change the life and body of Christ what will prayer change in us? You see family Prayer is one of the most Powerful Anointed Tools that we have at our disposal yet most people spend little to no time in prayer.
What we must realize..?
Psa_119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
What else?
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1Pe 5:11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Peter is telling us if we cast our cares upon him, be sober and vigilant we will be made perfect, established, strengthened and settled. Isn’t this what we all want and seek in our own way to be established, strengthened and settled? We know we do.
But if we are not reading or hearing the word of The Most High daily then we are leaving our spirit open to defilement - what happens then?
“The devil is as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour”.
How does he know whom to choose? Those whose countenance is not glistering in the light. Every day we don’t pray, read or hear the word of The Most High we weaken our spirit until the light dims and without knowing it our dimness sends a signal to Satan saying "here I am take me take me"…and in a short time the door is now open for him to enter in, in subtle compromising ways that will eventually lead to a defiled unclean and weak spirit.
Let us make a promise and an effort to stay in prayer because the time of judgment is come :
1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
The Word of GOD is a light and beacon and when you read it and stay connected in prayer you receive that shining light that Marks you as one of Ahayah’s servants. Stay in the Light!
